The interview was a 30-minute conversation over the phone with an employee who had obviously just started working there (which is not necessarily a bad thing).
They gave a short introduction of the company and the trainee program. They went on to ask about my previous experiences and specifics about my CV, followed by some very general questions about DevOps and cloud computing.
Lastly, they asked about my salary expectations and were nice enough to tell me how much exactly I would be making as a trainee and potentially as a software developer.
All in all, a very neutral experience, but I appreciate the openness and structured approach.
