Pros

Interesting projects. You get to be intimately involved in the build capacity of projects. Plenty of chances to learn beyond your own domain, as long as you have the capacity and interest to do so, while keeping on top of your own assigned tasks.

Cons

Quality has deteriorated over the years. There's a severe lack of promotion opportunities due to 'macroeconomic conditions', all in the meantime while Accenture's stock price has consistently reached new all-time highs. The loss of experienced colleagues because of the lack of promotion opportunities hits teams really hard due to lack of continuity.

Upper management is a varied bunch; some are capable, others give the impression of being buzzword chasers - Cloud, Metaverse, GenAI - just parroting off the latest IT trends.

Advice to Management

Try harder to retain experienced staff with proper recognition and incentives.
