Pros

A leading brand for global IT service providers.

Opportunities for learning and training.

One of the finest people in the industry are your colleagues – a great opportunity to learn from them.

Cons

When you are unstaffed, no one helps. The MDs keep telling revenue and new business, but when you reach them for opening, they don't help. The human resources ask for you to go on leave (earned) to increase utilization when you are on the bench. Management is clueless about future opening feasibility. They will hire, then keep you on the bench, ask you to do other work, and then terminate you.

Advice to Management

Whenever recruiting a new employee, please consider you have enough work for them for the upcoming year and keep a plan B, rather than terminating the employee. Have minimum flexibility to let the employee work in different responsibilities. Not getting an opening while on the bench is not the employee's fault; rather, it is management's.
