No active role for a long time

Supportive seniors.
No active role since I was hired.
Tagged in two projects within a year, and still haven't been assigned a single task to perform. It feels exhausting to keep waiting for work.
Please do not allocate associates to projects where they do not really require the resource. It wastes a lot of the person's time.
