Pros
  1. Better pay hike for lateral hires.
  2. Some good technology to work on.
  3. Good training material provided to learn and grow.
  4. Annual hike is good after 2+ years of service.
  5. Allowances are better than others, such as shift and deputation.
Cons
  1. Biased and no-brainer managers, dependent upon the project.

  2. Variable pay will be around 30-40% in the first 2 years of joining.

  3. Promotion and pay hike are not guaranteed, despite good performance.

  4. Some managers who don't know management are also part of the organization.

  5. Just for cost cutting, sometimes layoffs occur without considering performance.

  6. Forceful relocation from the base location if on the bench for a month or two, and no project is available at the base location.

Advice to Management
  1. An unbiased performance judgment system should be implemented.
  2. Better managers are required at the senior level.
  3. Relocation should be forced if projects are not available at the base location for an employee.
