The upside of this company only comes when you join the right project.
In general, people are nice, friendly, hardworking, and understanding.
In terms of tech, some projects use more modern & mainstream frameworks, so there's not much worry about skills becoming non-transferable or outdated.
In terms of workload, the upside is that it all depends on the project. Some may be light, but most are quite heavy.
In terms of career, it's not too bad if your supervisor helps you out.
A lot. Avoid this company if you are fresh out of college.
First of all, it's about the project. You don't get to choose a project if you don't have certain experience or skills; instead, the project chooses you, so there's pretty much a zero chance to develop new skills.
Worst of all are those projects with you from Accenture only—disconnected, alone, and frustrated at a client site, working 9-7 with zero recognition. The worse thing is that these projects are not rare.
Many clients I heard are well-known companies, although infamously so. Don't expect working with them will be easy.
People, tech, workload, and promotion all depend on your project, and bad projects are way more than good ones.
Pay is horrible. The same amount of workload is way beyond the pay. It's pretty much slavery, so don't expect work-life balance.
Top management does nothing with managing people. They are just sales trying to sell you to the client and get the juicy bonus for themselves. Pretty disgusting top management; they do not listen and do not care.
Notorious turnover rate. I would say it's around 40% annually. Rarely see people staying more than a year, and the reason is pretty clear. Your colleagues are likely to disappear in a few months.
Listen, understand, and develop the people. Treat them well, as they are the assets, not liabilities.
The interview process consisted of three rounds: * Technical * Managerial * HR discussion The technical round was based on areas worked on or experience in. The managerial round included both technical queries and soft skills.
Nice experience. They will ask basics as well as some project-based questions. They will ask a few questions on your experiences. They will ask about the landscape of the current project on which you are working.
The interview process was quite smooth. The only issue is if you want to change location; that process might take long. Otherwise, the interview process was quite good and the interviewer was quite helpful.
