Benefits (travel, medical, optical, dental, gym, telco, performance bonus, etc).
Your working hours and work-life balance depend on your project. I worked on an O&G project for a year (working on shift, got shift allowance, could claim mileage, thank you client!) and moved to a telco project (flexi working hours, very understanding boss!).
Networking through internal events.
If you want to explore new things (new projects, new technologies), tell your boss. They will listen and consider, but I'm not sure about the action.
You will get a chance (if you are lucky) to get an overseas project. I only heard of people in KL going to Indonesia, India, and the Philippines.
If you do more, you will get promoted very fast. My colleague got promoted every year for 2 years. Salute!
It's hardly to get a chance to change to another project. I waited for a year to change projects, and still no news.
I've heard so many negative feedback from colleagues (not going to list here because I personally haven't faced that yet), but for now, I am just dissatisfied regarding #1.
The interview process consisted of three rounds: * Technical * Managerial * HR discussion The technical round was based on areas worked on or experience in. The managerial round included both technical queries and soft skills.
Nice experience. They will ask basics as well as some project-based questions. They will ask a few questions on your experiences. They will ask about the landscape of the current project on which you are working.
The interview process was quite smooth. The only issue is if you want to change location; that process might take long. Otherwise, the interview process was quite good and the interviewer was quite helpful.
