Advice to Management
  • The HR team and supervisors/project managers should discuss effectively the required skills needed for hiring to prevent job-skill mismatch.

  • Rolling off resources should always be informed about their next project details earlier, and they should be given a chance to say no if it does not fit their current skills or career path.

  • The performance rating scheme only highlights the strengths/achievements of employees that senior management may have, overlooking the weaknesses/failures which could still be improved upon.
