Remember, "Employees always leave a manager or project they are not satisfied with, not the company."
I am quite surprised to see this point when I compare it with a lot of other reviews. Lot of people in my BU (Oracle) do work from home whenever they need to, as laptops are provided to all. It's just that you have to deliver what you were supposed to on that day, and that's it. This may vary from project to project, but I still see flexibility in a lot of teams.
I don't see any cons as such. I will again say – it's your project or the manager to blame if you are having a bad time with this company or any company for that matter.
It's a service-based company and not a product company where all the time you would get good compensation, food, or new technology. You might need some luck. If luck is not on your side, then put in hard work with a risk-taking attitude – believe me, it will pay off.
No advice.
