Petty for promotions. It depends on the people of the project you belong to. You work pretty hard to satisfy their needs, but at the end of the day, it doesn't seem worth it. The company values are all good, but they are dragged down by those who are power-hungry. However, not all are like that. Check your people. If you really care about your employees, ask why there are people who are not promoted for many periods of years. Something is wrong, right? Not all who are above their level are right.
