While you're 'on the bench,' a term within Accenture, you get paid to train on anything work-related. From Scala to C++, SCRUM to BluePrism, DuckCreek to SQL. You learn at a pace set by you. This can be a double-edged sword.
The community within your office will be welcoming and nice. I can promise that. It's what we're known for. You almost have to try not to meet anyone.
Paid travel is nice.
Once you do get your first role, it's satisfying. You'll get to learn, adapt, and build your resume. If it's the right role, you'll gain experience.

The biggest flaw in this giant 400,000+ employee company is that you're fighting to get 'off the bench' every day. There's always a looming feeling of being there too long. Will you get fired? Do I look good for my manager? For a raise? It's not a fight for your life, but if you aren't lucky enough to immediately get a project upon hiring, you'll find yourself asking if this is worth it, especially after that first month of self-training.
Getting a decent salary can be a slight battle.
Every person I've come across said their recruiter or recruitment process was a nightmare. Mine was also terrible. Prepare yourself for a quick response to your first submission, then a waiting game during your long hiring process.
