Disadvantages: Even though you graduated with a degree in a computer-related course, the project or tech stack you will be assigned to depends on project availability. Those who don’t have any background in software development are the ones who were given the golden opportunity to be assigned to the technical side of the project, like coding. You need to approach the manager if you want to change roles, but it is not really guaranteed. There will be days when you will be assigned as an on-call consultant during holidays.
