I do have friends in other projects who have not had the same experience as me. In fact, quite the opposite. They've had a very negative experience, especially with workload. In a nutshell, due to the "project-based" approach, your experience is very "hit or miss." It can be really great and be around great people, like I think I did, but the opposite is also very true.
