Pros
  1. Great benefit.
  2. Upon signing a contract with them, you instantly get an HMO.
Cons
  1. They will make you prioritize your work more than life. My days off are Saturday and Sunday, but they still contact me to ask things on my days off.

  2. There is no room for promotion, unless you became your TL's or manager's favorite or friend. During my time in ACN, I put my all into my work in the hope to be promoted. They acknowledged more of my flaws than my hard work, thus I was never qualified for a promotion. I even tried to train my junior in the hope that maybe with this, they might promote me, but instead, they promoted my junior. That was the last straw.

  3. People think that working at a BPO company means a high salary, but no, our salary was low after tax. Just imagine that kind of salary for three years.

  4. Career growth is for the favorite employees (depends on who manages you on that project).

  5. There is no such thing as free. The company gave us 12k for us to use to buy stuff, but here is a caveat: you need to stay with that company for six months, or else you need to return the 12k before resigning. So read the TOS carefully.

  6. Management pretends to care for you, but no, they are just making sure you don't quit your job (post-pandemic). They will make you feel bad for resigning from the company.

  7. After three years of working, you only received a 2k increase.

  8. That grocery allowance feels like your actual salary after tax.

  9. You will be trained, then they will put you in a project that has no correlation to your actual training.

  10. They will make you fend for yourself. If you don't know how to use a tool, they make you study it without proper materials.

  11. Offshore won't help you with your problems with your task sometimes, then they ask onshore for help. After that, the offshore will get mad and say, "Why didn't you ask us before you asked them?" even though you did ask for their help but were ignored.

  12. Prideful offshore. The onshore offered to help, but offshore forbid us to ask for help from them unless the offshore is unavailable. I remember my TL told me, "You can't let the onshore know that you don't know the answer to the task. We should show them that we are knowledgeable," even though we were not.

  13. There is no career growth for people who are not giving their lives to work.

  14. I got mental issues because of this company.

  15. You have no say in what project you are assigned to. Sometimes they will assign you to two projects at the same time.
