Pros

They've accepted me coming from a different industry (engineering).

They are really open for career shifters who want to build a career in the tech industry.

Cons

It's a little disappointing to say that I felt career development feels controlled and restrictive. This is for ATCP (Philippines).

I joined Accenture for a chance to build my career as a Data Analyst, but instead, my manager kept pushing me to a role that didn't suit my skills and capabilities. I told him that I wanted to be aligned with what I really came there for, but he kept telling me that "alignment is what the company demands."

I just saw this as wasted potential, which is why I decided to leave because I know for myself that I will never be as good as what I really envision myself to be, pretending to be someone that I am not.

Advice to Management

Listen and consider what the employees want for their career growth.
