Pros

Accenture is a large company that has tons of resources available at the drop of a hat, and they are constantly working on new initiatives and resources. It also makes finding somebody with the knowledge or expertise that you need fairly easy.

Cons

It can be quite competitive. You have to sell yourself to be assigned to projects and keep your utilization up to a reasonable level. If your utilization goes down, you can risk being on the chopping block.

The commercial practice is not very collaborative. Nobody cares about the greater good; everyone is just there to do their own job and does not help make the entire project a success.

You would also think that since they are such a massive company that their salaries would be competitive, but they are on the lower end.

Advice to Management

Do better. Re-evaluate your project managers and consultants.
