Compensation is okay, they pay overtime, no "bank hours" nonsense. I think it really depends on the project for it to be good or not. Career plan, if you have a good leader, is a real discussion. They have a lot to offer in courses, workshops, vouchers for certifications, etc.
It also depends on the project. I think excessive overtime, in some cases, mainly due to not knowing how to estimate project time and not wanting to oppose the client. This impacts the employee's quality of life, which is so talked about when we join.
