Pros

The positive aspect is that they offer Pluralsight courses, vouchers for certifications, and it is a recognized multinational company.

Cons

The company's HR is terrible, they are extremely lost and disorganized. Most HR queries are answered by our People Lead, who is a senior developer or manager responsible for following up with us.

The information gets lost because, in different places, people provide different answers. And since the company is large and disorganized, no one knows for sure which information is correct and what is happening within the company.

Most projects use legacy technologies. We frequently need to work overtime that is not paid; we can only offset it in our time bank, and even then, there is enormous bureaucracy.

When we are unassigned from a project, they try to put us on vacation. Therefore, it's almost impossible to take vacation all at once. On long holiday weekends, when they occur, they also deduct from our vacation time.

The company is not transparent about salaries, as they don't disclose any salary range information when we question HR, and the salaries are below market.

It is extremely difficult to be assigned to a good project with current technologies, and often, we are assigned to projects that have nothing to do with our technical skills. There are managers who cannot lead a project objectively, and this greatly impacts development.

There are several mandatory Accenture courses and training to complete, but managers don't like to hear that we are taking these company-provided courses during work hours, which is extremely contradictory. Thus, most employees don't know what's happening in the company.

It's no wonder that most employees leave the company in less than a year.

When they hire us, they sell us the idea that we can work abroad for Accenture, but in theory, it's almost impossible unless you are a manager. I've never met anyone who managed to transfer their job to another country, even though the company is multinational.

Advice to Management

Mudar a organização da empresa, ser mais transparente com os funcionários, melhorar os benefícios e possibilitar a migração para o home-office.
