Pros

Work-life balance is good. HR is supportive. The salary is not quite basic, and not high compared to the market.

Cons

I have been working for 4 years in Accenture Malaysia. What I observe is most of the high management roles are taken by Malaysian Chinese. I would say, Malaysian Chinese are very competitive and they don't want other races, such as Malaysian Indians, Muslims, or expats, to replace their roles when they get promoted. Instead, they would nominate another Chinese.

This is just a personal view from me because I used to be in the competition that way. My performance was always on top for the Lead role, but one day, very suddenly without any notice, it was taken by an unknown, selfish person.

Overall, if you want to find a normal place with a normal job and live in peace, this is a choice for you, but do not expect a high level in the management system.

Advice to Management

Even the president of America has an election. Doesn't promotion at Accenture work that way? When the team does not agree with the person chosen for promotion, it still happens, ignoring our feedback.
