The people make working for Accenture worth it
When you first get hired at Accenture, everyone talks about how the people are the bread and butter of working there. I thought that was just a joke and everyone drinking the company Kool-Aid, but in my four years of being here, I can wholeheartedly agree. I've met some of my best friends at Accenture because the people are just that great. They definitely make the long hours that you may inevitably need to pull on a project worth it.
If you're on a project that's very high profile, you will likely experience long hours, which is a nuisance if you're not overtime eligible.
Accenture is also known for paying a little under market value, but I believe that's because of the great people and company culture.
