Pros

Only the brand value which traps you.

Cons
  1. They hire for Java but put you on a PHP project without asking you. You cannot deny, and no one listens to you. If you don't perform, the manager will put you on a PIP (Termination).

  2. You are not in the correct technology. You are left with no option, then you resign. Then the manager asks you to take back your resignation. They will align you with the correct technology once you take it back. No one listens to you; you have to continue with that technology, which has no use for your career growth.

  3. They will put you in any technology without knowing your skill set. That is the worst thing I have seen.

  4. Managers are the worst part. They only make fake commitments. Never believe them.

  5. Once you put down your paper, don't take it back if the manager promises you anything because that is null and void.

Advice to Management

Align the resource with the right technology. Tell the candidate at the time of hiring which technology you are going to place them in.
