No hikes, regardless of whether you deliver or not, everyone will receive the same treatment. The candidate selection process is unable to filter out fraudulent candidates, and even when they are found, no one takes any action.
This advice is for top-level management. Please get to know the importance of the work that people under you are doing and compensate accordingly.
Don't just rely on leads' and managers' input when getting feedback.
Don't unnecessarily put people on PIP. Even high performers are being removed while low performers who are just good at talking are being kept.
