I need luck to get to a nice project
Projects are challenging and can help developers gain skills and experience. They also provide training. The culture is nice and recognizes your achievements. Bosses are nice too.
All the pros require luck because I started as a QA, and you don't have a choice on your initial assignment. I hustled and worked hard just to become a developer.
Low annual and promotion increase.
Requires a lot of working hours, 10 hours minimum.
If you get unlucky on a project, you will work many shifts.
Too many processes and many non-technical people involved.
Good for fresh grads who want to build a software developer career. If you are looking for high pay and more challenging projects with less process, this is not the company.
