Pros

Good work and life balance

Cons

Low pay. As usual for companies where they value new employees rather than those who've been there for years, especially the homegrown ones.

An SSE could have a pay range of 35K PHP to 80K PHP, depending on whether they are homegrown versus a newly hired employee.

There's a chance that you will be placed into technologies with no job market. The good thing is you can request to be moved to a separate project that has your desired skill, but this is not always the case.

Prepare to upskill while in the company for at least a month or a year so you can switch jobs to your desired skill.

Office visits are required. Don't apply if you want to WFH.

Advice to Management

Have empathy towards loyal employees, especially homegrown ones. After 5 years of working, with 2 promotions, my base pay is only 2.5x of when I started.
