Non-Avanade Accenture has a better culture in general, in terms of emphasis on quality of deliverables and time given for the same, due processes followed, etc.
Zero importance to personal development. You will not be allowed to attend trainings on the latest technologies.
"Accenture is not a training institute" are the words used by senior leadership.
No work-life balance. You don't have any option but to slog.
There are some very good processes, but they are never followed.
Quality is not given any importance. The only thing that matters is finishing delivery on time, and whoever does that becomes a hero in spite of producing awfully shabby work, which eats into other productive people's time for corrections.
Middle management behaves rudely and keeps shouting all the time without giving any input about a solution to the problem.
You never get the feeling of a team. You never feel that leads are with you in finding a solution to a problem.
PS: I was rated a top performer two consecutive times, but that is because I slogged.
