My advice to management would be not to say the quiet part out loud. I had a manager say to a group of trainees, "You're all basically skilled the same." I found the comment incorrect and offensive. People all have strengths and weaknesses; we are not interchangeable parts. I was given the impression that this was management's view on more than one occasion. Make sure you're utilizing employees' full skill sets to avoid dissatisfaction and frustration.
