It seems that hard work gets overlooked, and those who golf with senior management get the rewards for sitting in meetings all day long while the rest of the team gets the actual work done.
I have heard that my experience is limited to the specific account I am on. But for a company that states integrity as one of its core values, you really should not be promoting people that are unqualified just because they are friends with the boss. It is unethical and plants a seed of bitterness within the team.
