Pros

Flexible work schedule on my project. Long-term engagements. Exposure to any number of technologies. Each engagement is run as its own profit center, so experiences can vary greatly.

Cons

No client interaction. Lack of direction from management. Stack ranking causing competition between employees can lead to backstabbing. When going through the hiring process, some employees will hire less experienced and talented people than themselves to look good. Meat grinder mentality with high turnover. Pay for experience is the lowest I have seen. Work-life balance tagline is a bold-faced lie.

Advice to Management

Learn how to manage something.

Managers that actually do a task seem to only be mid-level management, not managing directors, as the mid-levels are admittedly way over capacity.
