If you're lucky, you get an awesome manager/supervisor who supports and helps you all the way.
You might not always get rewarded for your work or get what you deserve. There's a lot of competition, and you need to fight to get what you want. Getting to work onshore remains a dream for most, irrespective of the work you put in.
If an AM or TL is good, the team will always perform. I've seen good talent go to waste when they had a horrible manager.
