Pros

The company culture is great, and people are friendly.

Cons

They hire people straight out of coding bootcamps who are eager to code and then slap them into QA, Tester, or a Functional team. All of which have nothing to do with the coding that many graduates are eager to get into.

Accenture states they have to stay in these roles for a year so they can get familiar with the project or system, while their developer skills slowly die out. The majority of the developers on my team are in India, and there are little to no opportunities to transfer to Dev.

Advice to Management

Anyone who knows how to use a laptop can be a tester. Stop hiring these highly trained people to do meaningless jobs and actually hire and train them for what they spent so much money on tuition for.
