• Butt-licking is rampant in this company.
• If you do not lick, they will mark "bad attitude" in your appraisal, and then you will get a bad rating.

Higher management should listen to junior employees as well, as only they can tell you the ground reality. Have skip-level meetings frequently. A few bad managers can make the whole team or project a rotten place.
