Horrible for freshers. Don't raise grievances as unofficially managers and HR are on the same team

Pros
  1. Brand Name. Getting an interview call from big brands is an easy task with a tag of Accenture.

  2. You gain knowledge of working in a collaborative environment due to the big team size.

  3. Good hikes, free transport, free gym, and extracurricular activities like cricket tournaments, etc.

Cons
  1. Management imposes an unrelated technology stack on employees, especially freshers.

  2. There's a need to follow 9-hour office timings on a fortnight basis. Although, on average, people roam throughout campus, so they only give 4-5 hours of desk time.

  3. Switching companies is easier than changing projects within the company. I know many friends who wanted to change projects but, due to their haughty managers, they ended up switching companies instead, including me.

  4. Twenty to twenty-five percent of employees are not happy and want to change. Thirty to forty percent are "shoelickers" and get promotions. The rest are the ones who actually work and are running the projects.

  5. Accenture's HR are a bunch of the most irrational humans on Earth. They'll recruit for one state and at last send the offer letter for another state, and then you'll only see them during your exit process.

Advice to Management

Senior management should give attention to the inappropriate use of power by managers on low-level employees, i.e., ASE, SE, and SSE, who actually work and run the company.

Bring more transparency into the Internal Joining Process (IJP).
