Pros

Company-sponsored training and certifications. End-year bonus. Good for fresh graduates to gain experience.

Cons
  • Low salary rate compared to other companies.
  • WFH setup, even though the job can be done remotely. They don't care about employees' struggles. Management doesn't care at all.
  • Forced to do call center and support roles, even though you are a developer. They will threaten you for non-compliance if you refuse.
  • Does not support your career goals and aspirations. Business is business. You are just a "resource" to them, not humans.
  • Higher management levels with better salaries than those below them are WFH. Those who have $350 more or less salaries are forced to work in the office and suffer from all the financial burden.
  • Toxic management.
Advice to Management

Please treat your employees as "humans". Please do not force us to go back to the office unless it is necessary.

Not everyone can handle the financial expense daily. Why are we going backwards? Not forward?

WFH worked! Why waste all the energy and resources during commute? Sometimes we go to the office with at least 50% of our energy left because of all the stress from commuting and lack of sleep. How is this productive?

You push for sustainability, but it is inevitable to consume CO2 emissions from commuting. We consume tissues, we use energy for air conditioning and elevators, etc. How is this contributing to sustainability?

Sometimes we commute for 6 hours daily because of all the traffic, and you make us work 10 hours a day. Subtract 1 for lunch break.

So, 10 hours in the office + 6 hours from commute = 16 hours. That leaves us 8 hours.

1-2 hours to settle at home, prepare dinner, wash dishes, etc.

Sleep for 4 hours ONLY.

Then prepare to work for 1-2 hours again.

How is this making us productive and contribute efficiently to the company? How?
