Software engineering is just a title.
They get you to do whatever needs doing, even though it's nowhere close to what you want to do.
You usually end up more lost than you were coming in.
Pay is extremely low; not worth the stress.
Listen to what grads actually need to develop.
At the moment, grads are just money-making toys.
