Twice a year, the company organizes parties.
When I applied for work at Accenture Latvia, they helped with a relocation package. However, in the contract, they stated that if I were to quit Accenture within a year, I would have to return the money spent on relocation up to ..... At first, my thoughts were that they would count the real costs and tell me how much money they spent on relocation, but it wasn’t that way. They told me that I had to return the maximum amount written in the contract, and there were no discussions about it.
At the moment I was leaving the company, they changed the contract for new joiners, so now they will have to wait for 2 years until they can leave without paying back the relocation package.
Promotion is very low. They created some trainings, and some of them are not related to my job, but are mandatory to finish in order to get promotion according to the policy. However, in reality, they give promotions to their friends and mark on their side that the training was done. At the time I said I was leaving the company, they offered me a promotion, even though I had not finished the trainings.
Quality of products is very low. There were a lot of colleagues who had a higher level, like 9 (Lead position), but at work, they had much lower knowledge than some of the middle level. It seems that managers were fine with it, as long as they were able to push them to the client. The same is for the middle level; managers are happy as long as the client doesn’t complain, and they may forget about you.
Salaries are below the market.
My Accenture interview was smooth and structured. The panel focused on problem-solving, project experience, communication skills, and basic technical concepts. The process felt supportive, professional, and clearly aligned to real-world client work
In-person interview. Questions mainly asked about background and education. They also asked about hobbies. My friend said they watch series. They asked which series, and I replied Game of Thrones. They then asked about the director.
linear, initial process lasting about two weeks. Online application, then HR call of at least thirty minutes: who you are, why here, and other standard questions. Second round: technical interview of about an hour with an analyst and an engineer.
