Pros
  • Awesome people.
  • Lots of opportunities. This may depend on location, but generally Accenture has many clients with many different roles.
  • No shortage of people to meet. Accenture is a big company and has offices in many locations. Even if you work out of one client site, there are community meetings, gatherings, etc. It's a great way to expand your network very quickly.
  • Many chances to travel (if you're into that), whether for training or roles.
Cons
  • Pay is subpar at best (engineers)
  • Hard to focus on one skill, as consultants you're sent wherever you're needed and do whatever the project requires. You may have "staffing preferences" but it depends heavily on what's available, and eventually you'll be "forced" to take a role you may not want.
