Pros

Very good benefits (health plan, dental, etc).

Stability.

It is a good company to gain experience, but terrible for building a long-term career.

Cons

The promotion process is done only twice a year and almost always the "best" doesn't get the position. The process is transparent only in the first stage of performance evaluation; afterwards, the final decision is made behind closed doors and they never give feedback on why someone nominated (even if ranked first in the open ranking) was unsuccessful. Who you know is worth much more than what you deliver. People with 15 years at the company, even if stagnant due to lack of talent, always have an advantage. Terrible leaders, almost in their entirety, precisely because they are not open to proposals for improvement. The only criteria they take into account are "time at the company + friendships". Professionals can evolve well up to the consultant position; however, management positions are impossible to achieve solely through delivery, dedication, and positive client feedback. The saying we always used there is that "to become a manager, you need to have a manager friend". Simple as that.
