  • Exposure to a variety of projects
  • Some great people if you can find them
Cons
  • Leadership is consumed with sales. They don't care about how the sausage is made.
  • Poor engineering culture (no standardization; anti-patterns galore; "not my problem" mindset).
  • Sales people routinely put engineers in tough situations. Understaff teams and expect them to work late to meet unrealistic client deadlines.
  • HR ignores disrespectful behavior, even when formally reported.
  • "Chargeability" is the only metric that matters.
  • Opaque performance review process. When business is bad, you won't get a promotion/raise even if you deserve it.
Advice to Management
  • Reform from the ground up. Start with new employee onboarding.
  • Conduct anonymous 360-degree reviews to identify toxic leaders.
