Pros

Great Company with Great Processes:

You will see the presence of true Software Development Life Cycle processes and a great ITIL-based maintenance model.

Lots of opportunities to learn and grow your technological and management skills when you have passion. Of course, you need to get the right opportunity.

I would say a top-most leader in Software Consulting, and 99% maintains the trust of clients with quality services.

Cons

Nothing to say as a Con, yet politics and dependency situations are everywhere, and Accenture is no exception.

Repetitive and updated security/policy-related mandatory trainings for employees may get boring, however, it's an unavoidable task as part of a huge consulting company to ensure adherence to best practices for Accenture as a leader in consulting.

Advice to Management

Few smart employees would consistently put in effort to provide quality service to clients, especially when working onsite under indirect client management. Some clients may not communicate an employee's performance to management or appreciate their efforts due to political reasons.

However, an employee may not be interested in repeatedly showcasing themselves to their direct management. You could diligently trace out such situations and take care of the employee.

Also, have a definitive strategy to promote an employee from one level to another based on a number of consistent performance years. For example, if an employee performs 3+ out of 5 for more than 'n' number of years (it could be 5 or 6), promote them, despite budget constraints, if possible.

(This is just my wish list as a well-wisher of both the employee and the company. I know how the business works, and of course, we cannot do anything about certain situations based on how the business is running.)
