If you’re good at networking and make your own effort, you might find something.
The internal project search feature sucks, and it’s almost like a career site black hole.
Make it easier to find projects. Some internal tools need better UX.
People who are protected (disability, going on leave soon, pregnancy, etc.) should have it made easier for them to still be “useful” and not get slammed with merit-based chargability metrics because they aren’t the right fit for any client project, especially if they’re trying really hard. They shouldn’t weigh down the rest of the team and shouldn’t be cut because they can’t find a project.
Merit-based bonuses shouldn’t negatively impact them either. There should be a separate WBS & internal projects, etc., for that.
