The manager or lead is not answerable to anyone, and all power for career growth of subordinates rests in the hands of managers.
This can often make managers authoritarian and can give them a chance to oppress their subordinates.
Accenture talks about respect for everyone, but this is usually not practiced by managers. There should be someone to whom we can report or give feedback about our lead, and a way we can make it count.
