Career advancement is possible. There are almost always new career positions to climb, and it is a clear process if you get promoted.
A project can be a hit or miss. Sometimes you get deployed to an awesome project with supportive people. Sometimes you will get deployed to a messy and troublesome project with a lot of workload and overtime work, with the worst people. This is a common thing in a BPO, I guess.
Attrition is high because the increase in salary is very low.
