I advanced to the technical interview stage at Acorns, and throughout the process, the team was communicative and kind. Unfortunately, just before my scheduled technical interview, I was informed that it was being cancelled because another candidate had accepted an offer.
While it was disappointing not to have the chance to complete the process and showcase my skills, I understand that hiring timelines and priorities can shift quickly, especially when the right candidate accepts. That said, it did feel a bit abrupt after the time and preparation put into earlier stages.
Overall, I appreciated how transparent and respectful the team was throughout, even though things didn’t work out this time.
