Acorns

Ability to work remote, some good coworkers, not much else.

Working here was a waste of time with nothing to show for it at the end in terms of anything learned or accomplished.

Execs:

• Overly involved in the minutiae, demonstrating a lack of ability to focus and prioritize on their core responsibilities, and trust in their teams.
• No clue what leadership is focused on in terms of direction of the company, product strategy, etc.

Culture:

• Cult-like, as some have mentioned, with the company mission statement being cited at the start of almost every meeting.
• While the mission is thrown around a lot, there's no discernible alignment between action and mission.
• Lots of chaos, scramble, and pivots resulting from half-baked ideas, poor planning, and inability to execute.
