Software Engineer Interview Experience - United States

Process

The worst interview experience. The interviewer was a grad student who had only been with the company for two months. He simply had questions written on CoderPad and asked me to write the answer without any explanation.

I implemented the solution, and it ran fine with the best possible time complexity. During the interview, he told me to keep coding as his internet had some problems, so he wouldn't be able to see my response. He didn't ask what my thought process was or even ask me to explain the solution I wrote.

Even though I answered the complete question, they sent a rejection. Seriously, the worst interview ever. Don't apply and waste your time here.
