Good benefits, can work remote/hybrid.
Before the pandemic hit, Affirm was a great place to work. Unfortunately, it got taken over by woke DEI and terrible management.
Affirm management on the team I worked on got taken over by incompetent "leaders" who gaslight and intimidate. The new management that took over in my previous role are very unorganized and value favoritism.
You need a "seat at the leadership table" in order to have any transparency and communication. Throughout my years at Affirm, I did not get a single pay raise.
My previous manager and teammate both left the company shortly after the pandemic hit because they saw the toxic direction the company was going, along with teams we would work with.
The new management I worked with don't care about one's growth. They will single you out if you don't kiss up to them and become a doormat for them. They want people who say "yes" to everything without asking any questions at all -- because if you do ask questions, which is very healthy, you are somehow deemed to be a complainer or bad worker.
My wife was relieved that I am no longer there because of how toxic the work environment is, and so am I. But it sucks that I have to start from ground zero in this terrible economy to look for a job again. I didn't deserve to be treated the way I was.
I worked so incredibly hard for this company only to be backstabbed and treated as an invaluable member of the "team". Any management that abuses their employees should be fired, but no repercussions happen to these toxic individuals because they are protected by other, more severely toxic leadership.
I was abused for the last 3+ years by being gaslit by my incompetent manager, who had no previous managerial experience before joining Affirm. I knew from exactly when my manager started to turn on me and use psychological abusive gaslighting tactics to undermine me.
This company has gone backwards and the core values that once were are no longer there. This is a toxic workplace and it isn't just me saying this.
Stop gaslighting and stop being so toxic. Gaslighting is a form of psychological and manipulative tactics.
Applied via referral. Hackerrank OA. Recruiter Call. Coding Interview. Final Round (Behavioral + Coding). Offer. I wasn't able to pass the coding round. The recruiter was very nice, but the coding question was a bit difficult for me.
Screening call with recruiter (about 30 minutes) Technical round (coding in HackerRank - about 60 minutes) Hiring Manager (about 60 minutes) The recruiter was very informative and helpful. The overall experience is good. I only wish they would agre
Coding interview went perfect. Then I did the hiring manager 30-minute interview, and it was my worst interview experience by far. The interviewer didn't even care what I was saying; he was doing other stuff meanwhile. When I answered the question af
