Developer experience is the worst I've experienced in my career – far too much to list here and I don't want PTSD. Management is largely clueless, devoid of actual tangible goals. Every project/initiative is reactive as opposed to proactive, leading to constantly scrapped and replaced projects. Tons of red tape prevent developers from getting the real beneficial changes done ahead of the product development curve, leading to an ever-escalating amount of tech debt.
The best changes can only happen from the ground up. Not all projects need to go from top-to-bottom. Listen to your engineers instead; they know the real problems better than you do.

1. Recruiter Call: 30 minutes; non-technical. 2. Technical Phone Screen: Medium-level coding problem with follow-ups (see below for more details). They said it was going to be a collaborative exercise, but that was not true. It was your typical 'ask
The overall experience was good. The HR representative was quick and highly responsive. The interview breakdown was quite straightforward, and the initial technical interview was quite easy. I solved the questions with brute force and optimized so
