Engineers are very knowledgeable and great to work with.
Subpar engineers who don’t meet the Affirm standard and the expectations of their role are let go within a year.
So not a lot of incompetent engineers, which contributes to the high quality of work and great communication within the engineering teams.
Leadership is also great and has a clear view on where they want the company to go. They’re not afraid to answer tough questions during all hands as well.
