Affirm was founded and is led by a bunch of technology industry veterans, and it shows in the way the company carries itself.

The usual signs of a rocketship are here: rapid team growth, expanding business, new processes, and programs. But the company is especially mindful of its people and their well-being in the midst of the crazy growth.

There is a mature support structure across the company, which you wouldn't necessarily expect given its size or the number of years of existence.

Affirm's nurturing culture isn't for everybody; some prefer the overwhelming chaos that comes from smaller startups or having to make it up as they go along. Some of the engineering systems could use architectural improvements.
