The hiring process involves a HackerRank test with a 60-minute limit and 11 questions, of which 5 are coding questions. You can easily clear that.
Following that are two CoderPad interviews. The interviewer checks for your ability to code and provide efficient solutions to simple problems like reversing an array and finding a pair of sums. Some interviewers might also ask you to write test cases and explain corner cases.
If you clear that, they may call for an onsite interview, which would be arranged by the company itself.
After you reach there, the interview process continues with 4-5 managers back-to-back. I'd say it's more of an endurance test as well, where they see if you can continuously sit and solve technical issues for a long period. Managers may ask you to implement problems on Data Structures and may discuss system design and design patterns. Appropriate answers are expected; if you simplify and try to explain the issues, they may not consider you.
The interviewers may help you proceed with the problems they give you, but if you are slow or take more time, they may not consider you. My interview went almost 70% perfect, yet they rejected me. So, you need to make sure your interview explanations and solutions are 90% apt.
Also, two major things:
The location to work will be Bangkok, Thailand only; there are no other offices where they hire technical staff.
Most positions for software engineers are for full-stack roles. Any position like client-side engineer or software engineer will always equate to a full-stack engineer. I went there for a client-side interview but was asked a lot about Data Structures, design patterns, and solutions to backend problems like notification systems and queue implementation. Hardly two interviewers asked me a little about client-side application architecture. No one was interested in my knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. They work purely on ReactJS, C#, and Scala.
Prepare accordingly and all the best.
Find the second maximum value in a stack.
